different? Newsworthy? Important enough to tell the community about? This is something that no one else is doing around here. Everybody needs to know.

Church should not be a one size fits all, cookie cutter experience that everyone is expected to subscribe to or you are out. We as Christians worship a great big God who is active and capable of showing himself in a million ways that help us to know he is real and alive. Worship is our acknowledgement of how great God is….not how great we are for getting up on Sunday mornings. 2^nd Chances Worship is a creative effort to give anyone who comes a chance to come before God just as they are, putting our lives in God’s hands and asking for peace for broken hearts and lives. And you can sleep in on the weekends.

You see, we are little blue church in the middle of a big colorful neighborhood that needs God. I try to do what Jesus did…meet people exactly where they are in life and offer them the hand of the very God that created them. At that point, God takes over and changes lives. Plain and simple, that’s what we are about. The message of Jesus means that each person is loved enough that God would give his own life for them. The incredible truth is that God already did that and worship is the experience of recognizing and responding to this incredible love.

2^nd Chances Worship Community is an informal weekly worship experience that enables prayer, praise and realization of what God is doing in our lives everyday. Each week is themed to meet a real human need and provides a God given answer to our needs. Through music, video and really unique creative experiences, God teaches us who we really are and what our purpose in life is. If you open your heart just a little the Holy Spirit sneaks in and does some major redesigning. A whole new look. A whole new life. Isn’t that worth an hour away from the TV and the internet?
