My mission is to be available to people as Jesus was and to teach others to do the same. 2nd Chances is a creative worship community that seeks to bring people closer to God just as they are.

2nd Chances is the new Worship Community gathered through Living Christ Lutheran Church in Hanover Park, IL. This creative worship gathering follows in the style and freedom of the Emerging Church and alt.worship movement, in an attempt to bring an opportunity for the basics of the Christian faith to be shared in an interactive and multisensory method.

I'm 11 years into a life long career as a Lutheran pastor in the ELCA and am absolutely in the highlight of it all right now. I serve as Pastor at Living Christ Church and Chaplain for the Addison Fire Protection District (IL).

My family is my greatest gift. Jeff, my husband is everything to me and I would be no where without his love and support. My kids, Jessica, Brad, Emily and Elise are the ones who remind me daily that I am needed and loved.
The dogs, Bailey and Huck, are nuts too. But we love them anyway.

I went to school at Concordia, River Forest and the Sem in Chicago at LSTC. Never saw this life coming. And I'm lovin' it.

The congregation I lead (www.lclutheran.org), the fire department I love and community we serve together are near home, and offer me the opportunity to share the gifts God gives me every day.

Things are good.
